OKAY, okay, fine. here's the short and sweet, limited-exposure version. (not near as bad as having to say what high school i went to, i suppose. ) 
A2: although i had nothing to complain about in life, i fell into a depression. went through some unwanted upheavals in my life. came to realize i was missing something and i just kept thinking "there's got to be more to life than this!" and as they say, when the student is ready the teacher will appear. and so they did, with elias being the most recent one. the biggest influences along the way were 2 books; The Secret and Ask and It Is Given.

lol, oh, denise, you were supposed to answer both questions with:
"they are ways of finding truth, …."
that was my great big 2 for 1 plan ….
but you said it yourself only in different way..lets see..you said
"to get finite results"
then, thats a "way" when i said "ways of truth"
a pendulum and elias both being "ways" of truth.
